Hi.
I'm using windows 7 ultimate x64.
For about 10 days now I've been encountering BSOD stating that display driver timed out with stop:0x00000116 and nvlddmkm.sys. ..
I tried the usual BSOD stuff but to no avail. ..

I uninstalled the display driver then installed the latest driver. ..
I uninstalled the display driver, deleted old files then clean installed the latest driver. ..
I noticed that the cpu temp is around 45°c idle and 60 to 68 working... so I changed the cpu fan with a new one and the cpu temp now is around 39 idle and 58 to 60 working. ...
I even rigged a fan for my gpu card...

All done with no effect except delaying the BSOD.... but when it happens it recurs quickly after restart (hard resef)...

My system consists of

Cpu Core 2 duo E7400 2.8 GHz
GA EP45UD3R
Point of view 9400 GT 1GB ram
4GB RAM as 2 modules

Please help me.

I'm frustrated as I can't use my computer.
I'm sending this from my smart phone. ..

Is the display card faulty ???

Here's the new file.
I hope it's complete this time as I had a hard time trying to run the tool as the BSOD surfaced every now and then.
Thanks for your time and effort.

You are running an ACER Product ID on a Gigabyte board.
This makes your installation counterfeit
Troubleshooting a counterfeit installation is useless as it is not known what has been modified to your system.
Code:
OS Manufacturer: Microsoft Corporation
OS Configuration: Standalone Workstation
OS Build Type: Multiprocessor Free
Registered Owner: xxxx
Registered Organization:
Product ID: [COLOR="Red"]00426-OEM-8992662-00006[/COLOR] <-- ACER PID on Gigabyte board.
Original Install Date: 12/01/12, 11:23:46 PM
System Boot Time: 26/10/15, 3:11:53 PM
System Manufacturer: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.

Install a genuine copy of Windows, if you still need help with BSOD's after installing a genuine Windows copy I'll gladly help.

You mean this windows copy is not genuine. ..??
I haven't changed it as I got it installed on my pc when I bought it 5 years ago. . Besides, windows update is working normally and if I remember correctly, it passed the Microsoft genuine product test as I tried it when I got my pc back then to make sure it's original product. ..

However. ..this way we can't determine the cause of BSOD..

If so.. how will I ever install a new genuine version with the BSOD occurring every now and then? ??
Also. . Is there a way to install a new genuine windows without losing my fikes or is it possible to pay for this windowstto be genuine...

Sorry for asking many questions but what you told me is quite shocking to me as it never crossed my mind.

Thanks.

This Product ID is one I have seen a lot, exactly the same.

The first step now is to install a genuine copy of Windows, prefered to install it clean to remove the modifications.
To prevent your data to be lost, you should backup them on different locations.

Thank you for your help.
I'll try the safe mode to see if I can backup my data then try a fresh windows installation.
Hopefully the BSOD won't pop up during the installation. .
I've been using my phone in this thread as my pc didn't giveme any chance of writing thread rather than uploading files.
