Solved windows 7 x64 error

whenever i restart my laptop i get a lock symbol and the message "failed to connect to a windows service". I've tried doing a selective startup. any help is appreciated

Work through the Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7 starting with Malwarebytes full scan in Safe Mode with Networking if necessary, then SFC, if necessary a Repair Install.

If it won't remain stable to do these then switch to the same steps using bootable media from Troubleshooting Windows 7 Failure to Start

Fixed, followed a video and found some files got deleted from the registry.
