Windows 7 x64 Pro, "empty folder" bug?

I've noticed that sometimes Windows Explorer reports some folders as being empty, even though they aren't. Reentering that folder would reveal the files eventually.

Has anyone noticed this bug?

I'm already wondering how many folders did I accidentally delete because of this bug.

I'm having the same issue as well, but could not find a solution.
Did you find a solution yourself?

Open Command Promp You must run Command Prompt as an administrator

Once Command Prompt is open, type the following command and then press Enter

sfc /scannow

Using sfc /scannow to repair important Windows files usually takes 5 to 10 minutes.
