Solved Windows 7

The other day my computer just went to running in what looks like safe mode. It is not in safe mode however, but everything is magnified ( that's what made me first think - safe mode.) it also happened while playing a game. I have since removed all of the "Wild Tanget games" I had on here. But still have the problem. Any one know what might be going on here?

Sounds like a driver failure
Reinstall the gpu driver
Should just be able to shut down and restart ?

If not clean install the driver.

This sounds as if it might be your monitor that is playing up here. What you describe is what you might see if you change the resolution to 800 x 600 resolution. Have you access to another monitor? If so try that. If not what is the make and model of your monitor and how old is it?

Maybe the game just changed the screen resolution? See http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/255-screen-resolution-display-settings.html before going for other recommendations

Thank you to all that helped.I did go in and looked @ the resolution ..it was @ 800x600 > I moved it up to 1440x900 although it states that 1920x 1080 was recommended. I don't know how it would have changed while playing a game but that's when it happened. I hope this fixes it ...it looks better now and more normal to me. I probably should not have join a forum, I know very little about computers and was just looking for answers. Thanks again everybody. Dawn

If you are not fluent with computers, joining a forum is exactly what you should do And use the forums whenever you have the slightest question

If the recommended resolution for your screen is 1920x 1080 then I would recommend that you set it to that. Generally speaking it is best to use the manufacturers recommended setting on any hardware, they afer all want you to get the best experience from their gear so that when you come to replace it you will choose the same manufacturer!
When you say "I know very little about computers and was just looking for answers." That's the best reason for joining this Forum. We all started knowing nothing, we all learn a bit more every day. Never worry about asking what you might think is a silly question. Ther is no such thing as a silly question, there are some silly answers but never a silly question.
