Solved Windows 8.1 boot problems

After I installed NETGEAR Genie, I noticed it was taking my desktop a while to sleep AGAIN...

I tried uninstalling NETGEAR Genie, and the uninstall process got stuck. Finally, I shut it down. Upon turning it back on, it got stuck on the black screen that says "ACER explorer beyond limits" with the little black dots spinning in a circle. So, then I did a startup repair and afterwards, it booted fine. Wouldn't it be a good idea to remove NETGEAR Genie?

Okay...I am wondering if this is what the problem was last time. I hope I didn't mess it up.

It could have been and all that Apple crap ...

I still have the application, but it's not showing up in Programs and Features. (NETGEAR Genie)

This computer doesn't have the Apple software installed on it.

It is associated with Netgear Genie

Should I do a System Restore or is there a software remover application that I can use?

Where does the App show in the Tiles Window ?

This is under the desktop applications. It says it's installed on the Start Screen, but it doesn't under Programs & Features.

Also, whenever I go to remove it...It takes me to the Programs & Features window, but NETGEAR Genie is not there to uninstall.

That is a lot of hassle just for a small App ...

I know...But, it's not letting me remove it.

Nothing with Right Click ?

Nope...If I right click, it takes me to Programs & Features. But, there is NETGEAR Genie is not there to remove.

Seems to be booting normally now though.
