How do I get NETGEAR Genie off?

You could Restore the Start Menu to Defaults .. That would mean the Loss of many Programs on the Start Menu though ..

After this, I will leave it alone. This thing is so nitpicky. It hates being bothered by certain applications.

No. I will still use, I just wont be installing certain things. What I have on it is enough.

I had 2. But, I got it removed by going into a the NETGEAR genie file under the computer files. Do I need to restore it again? I don't think it's needed.

Yeah, it's sleeping now that I removed NETGEAR genie. It's also shutting down normally again. I won't be downloading NETGEAR genie again then. Thanks, Maxie for your help.
