Windows 8 to 7 Downgrade Missing Wireless Driver
Hey there guys. I am currently running on my HP Envy dv7 on an ethernet connection.
I have tried numerous attempts to get a wireless driver installed but my system keeps telling me it could not install.
Specs:
I currently have the intel centrino 2230 driver which is exactly what I was running on my machine when I had windows 8 and it is the driver that HP recommends, however it just WILL NOT install fully. It leaves me with a yellow exclamation point and the inability to find a connection.
Here is a picture, and thanks in advance for help

When you choose to uninstall, are you checking the box to remove the driver software?

The driver sweeper looks like it only works for graphics drivers now. Should I still use it?

Go to the website of the driver manufacturer and look for directions to uninstall or an uninstall tool
