Windows 8 upgrade question.

So, I think I'm eligible to buy the upgrade since I bought this OEM license that came with this laptop one month ago.

Question is, if I purchase the upgrade from Microsoft, will I get another key to use? Or do I just need to use my Windows 7 Pro key to be used in the Windows 8 installation phase? Do I get the ISO copy so I can fully reformat my drive?

You'll get another key and you will have the option during the process to make an ISO copy and install from that. Which is what most of us here do.

So if I get another key I can just 'discard' my existing key and sticker right, technically?

One more, albeit silly, question. Since I get a blatant new key, how do I prove my ownership or authenticity of that new key?

My old key came with a sticker, so it's unquestionable, but this one won't come with a sticker right?

Once you you go through the upgrade process you should receive a few emails with details and product keys. Print them out and save them.
