Hey all, hoping you can help me here. Did a fresh install of Windows 7 about 2 months ago and everything has been fine. The last couple of days though, been getting a message saying I need to activate my Windows copy (something I was sure I'd already done). I've had this on my laptop for a while now as well, but for now I just want to sort the desktop out. The only real issues with it is it seems to be stopping me from updating windows (something I've realised I haven't done since the install) and keeps turning my desktop wallpaper black. Below is the MGADiag report.

I haven't no. I wanted to be sure this thing was legit and not something dodgy. Seeing as it appeared so randomly after so long.

It looks fine to me - what makes you think it may not be legit?

We will possibly get a little more detail if you install the WAT Update - KB971033 - but I doubt that it will change anything.
