Whatever suits you - I install updates when they come up. You could also look into Secunia PSI - you may have software vulnerabilities.

I typically wait at least two months before installing some updates due to the problems updates have caused such as in the previous posts. I have not had any infection in over 11 years. I take the time to research updates I don't understand.

Microsoft makes mistakes, too.

Unless microsoft puts out something that I absolutely cannot live without. I'm going to pass. But it'll be interesting to see the long term effects of this update..
