windows and hotkeys

I would like to change the hotkey for starting the windows start launcher. How do I go about doing this.I would like to change the window hotkey to something else.

I say this because I used to use launchy in my xp and my hotkey for starting that was alt+space but now I am using 7 and 7 has a better search index than xp so I dont see the point of having launchy again.

I haven't tried any of these personally, so instead of a simple link, I would suggest inputting "remap windows 7 hotkeys" into Google and checkout the returns. There appears to be answers that would work.

Maybe you could try a small application called AutoHotKey

Thanks, I was looking more for a generic windows solution a registry hack perhaps. I'd rather install launchy than install another process just for hotkey remapping.
