the preview icon for programs running ni the taskbar keeps on changin to like only show the name of the program im not sure if its because of a program i run but its quite annoying i have to restart to change it back ne1 know y?

my specs are way above wuts needed btw.

I know what error you're referring to. No matter what video card I use (ATI or Nvidia), edition of Windows (Home Premium, Professional, Ultimate) (x86 or x64), I get this issue. The way to resolve it at least temporarily is to go into Task Manager and restart the explorer.exe application. Once that's done, the issue is fixed. You can also log off and logon again and it effectively does the same thing.

I am curious though, do you have the Quick Launch toolbar enabled? (Trying to find a pattern because so far, it's hard to convince people that this is a bug)

Can you post a screenshot of what is happening? It sounds to me like Aero is being turned off....
