Just a warning on Windows 7 Backup.
I had backed up my system using Windows backup on a weekly basis, also on one occassion restored my system from one of these backups.
Previously to that for backup I had used the free version of Macrium Reflect.
Then last week after installing a piece of software the dreaded blue screen appeared and I was usable to reboot.
I loaded the Windows 7 System Repair disk and re-booted, then from the menu chose the last version on my backups to restore from, to cut short a long story it was unable to restore it just going round and round in circles .
I went through the re-boot process a few times then finally gave up.
The last Macrium backup I had was from 6 weeks earlier so as that was my last resort I tried that and it restored no bother.
So the question is what has Macrium got that Windows has not.
