Windows boot hangs, error 0xc0000225

I tried starting my computer today, but it kept coming up with a screen that said: Error 0xc0000225 Boot selection failed because the required device was inaccessable"

I tried googling it, but the problem seems to come frop people messing with partitions.
I haven't so much as looked at a partitioner siince I got the computer (Just the two standard partitions: the system one and the C: drive)

How can I fix this?
NOTE: I already tried the MBR- the bootrec.exe tool on the install disc executed properly, but still same problem

That would kind of rule out the need for the MS page on that. How to use the Bootrec.exe tool in the Windows Recovery Environment to troubleshoot and repair startup issues in Windows

Have you tried running the automatic Startup repair tool a few times as well? If that fails to work you might have to plan on rebuilding the BCD as long as the Partition Table(PT)/Master File Table(MFT) is still intact.

Another thing would be not allowing people to play around with the drive partitioning there or simply be stuck each time. Besides assigning a password there are a tools available for locking up the desktop when away from the machine.

Is this a laptop/desktop/tablet/netbook?

Can you boot from a CD/DVD?

Boot selection is done by boot manager (bootmgr).
This means that:
MBR is OK, PBR is OK,
bootmgr is OK, and you have a BCD file with at least one loader entry.

The problem is that the device (partition) information in BCD does not match partition information on disk.

A simple command from Recovery prompt would do:
bcdboot drive_letter:\windows
- check that directory is there with dir command
\windows could be on c: drive or e: drive when booted from CD/DVD/USB Recovery media. ( usually d: is recovery media, c: -> active partition )

But first I would do a chkdsk
on "SystemReserved" (c: ?) and Windows partition (e: ?)

If you see the 1tb drive in Windows Explorer without any problem simply right click on it to bring up the properties screen>Tools and click on the Check Now button to run the Check Disk utility.

Since you are not able to boot into that 7 install you wouldn't be able to schedule it for the next start using the "chkdsk /r" command with the repair switch added in the command. The Automatically fix system errors box should be already be checked off by default.

If so it it still set first HD to boot in BIOS setup?

I changed the SATA drive controller type from AHCI to IDE in the bios on my Intel motherboards and that solved the problem for me.

You have a very, very unusual situation if that procedure does not cure your problem.

When first getting this case together 7 had problems starting up following a nice fresh primary for the clean install of 7 to go onto. The default setting was then switched over to(on Gigabyte brand boards note( the Native iDE mode.

Lately following another clean install I went from that to AHCI or SCSI setting and all went well following the guide for this seen at http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/61869-ahci-enable-windows-7-vista.html

When problems came up with the recent dual boot of 7 with the Windows 8 Release Preview resulting in drive errors(ntoskmi.exe in a memory dump analysis) the Check Disk tool solved the 7 start up and freeze up problems. The Check Disk tool is the last option before the need to repartition the drive or simply put remove the present C to see a new primary take it's place.

The Error 0xc0000225 error is the result of an interrupted partitioning process. When you mentioned "people messing with partitions" that suggests a likely corrupted Partition Table which will result in a number of problems. That includes any number of drive errors which will stall any version of Windows at start up.
