Hi www111,

Could you please fill our your System Specs? It may help us diagnose the problem. If you do manage to boot to your computer, do the following:

First of all, run the SFC/SCANNOW command. It will fix any corrupted system files that could be causing your system to start up so slowly.
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1538-sfc-scannow-command-system-file-checker.html

Next, do a Startup Repair. It will help fix files that prevent ?Windows from starting normally.
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/681-startup-repair.html

Finally, do a Repair Install. It will fix your current OS while also leaving all your data, files, user accounts etc.
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/3413-repair-install.html

When did this problem start, by the way? Was it recently or has it always been like this? Did you install any programs or download any files shortly before this problem started? If you did, try a System Restore and restore to a date before the your startup slowed down.

Hope this helps,
Jaidyn

Yesterday needed computer about 1 min to boot, and today when I turned it on starts the problem and the boot/ startup is taking for 20 min.

The computer is now boot-ed up, and when i click the start button i takes 1-2 min to open the menu.

I tried the STARTUP REPAIR before but it says no errors found.

Try and get through all of the options I gave you (sfc/scannow, Startup Repair, Repair Install & System Restore). Unfortunately, it may take a while but I suppose there's not much we can do at the moment. All we can do is wait and hope that one of the solutions I linked will fix the problem. :)

Install, update and run a Full Scan of Malwarebytes, if necessary from Safe Mode.

Create a Clean Boot to see if a program is interfering: in msconfig>Startup uncheck everything except your AV and gadgets. After several restarts, in msconfig>Services select "Hide all MS Services" to see what is running without your knowledge, uncheck these, then after several more restarts check back in both places to see if anything has written itself back in. If so, turn off in program's Preferences or Uninstall.

If this doesn't help, reboot with your AV disabled to see if this solves problem. If so, uninstall and install MS Security Essentials or Avast 6 for best performance.

Let us know how the steps given so far work, and we will have more if necessary.

all very good answers from you guys i would run Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool 2011

Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool 2011 is a free software intended to disinfect infected computers, removing viruses, Trojans, and spyware, as well as any other types of malware. Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool 2011 uses the same highly efficient algorithms for detecting malware as Kaspersky Anti-Virus. Algorithms include a full-functional anti-virus scanner, technologies developed for detecting vulnerabilities in installed applications and operating systems, and a technology for running scripts intended for removing complex and compound viruses. The utility can be used as a free anti-virus software.

Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool 2011 is not intended for real-time protection of computer. After the disinfection of the computer is complete, the application should be uninstalled from the hard drive and replaced with a real-time protection anti-virus

[Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool 2011 provides no update function. The up-to-date version of the application with the latest version of anti-virus databases is always available on the website of Kaspersky Lab Technical Support service.

Advantages:

The application is absolutely free.
Simple application interface.
Installation on an infected computer. Including:
in Safe Mode of Microsoft Windows;
when a real-time protection of anti-virus is running.
The installation process does not require interaction with the user anymore.
Closing the main window is enough to uninstall the application form a computer.
Automatic scan and disinfection:
search of malware using signature databases;
heuristic analyzer;
search and neutralization of rootkits;
search of applications with known vulnerabilities;
non-signature search of malware based on "cloud" technologies (when Internet access is available).
Manual scan and disinfection:
collection of information about an infected computer and system;
interactive creation of disinfection scripts.
What's new in Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool 2011:

The user interface has been improved.
The application installation and uninstallation have been simplified.
A full-functional use of the application from a flash card has been implemented.
The process self-defense has been implemented.
The advanced disinfection has been improved.
Compatibility with real-time protection anti-virus applications has been improved.
Active use of the "cloud" technology of Kaspersky Security Network.

This sounds more like a hardware problem, like CPU or HD is going out or something? I would try to boot from a CD like Ultimate Boot CD This CD is packed with loads of tools to help you figure out where the problem is. the only problem is you will have to figure a way to download and burn it to a cd, maybe a friends computer? also these tools are more for an advanced user, duno how much experience you have, so you may want to ask one of your tech buddies if they will help?

Get this http://www.sevenforums.com/general-...really-need-some-help-please.html#post1432515 and post us your SFC log.

Also, that problem of yours has a WIDE range of possible causes and solutions. I'll probably disconnect all USB devices first just to check. If all else fails, that Repair install works. It's better than trying to figure out what's wrong with it when the repair install can fix it in a couple of hours.
