I guess they removed it from Seven. I have tried to use it from vista, but cannot get it to work properly in 7-rc7100. It was one of the 2 features I actually like on vista , but it didn't get included in 7 . THe one I am referring to is WinCal.exe and its accessory folder. I can run it, but autostart does not work, and it keeps asking for permision, but rarely starts.Any Ideas
Laptop HP G60 with 3gigram and win7 and ubuntu dual boot setup (Linux actually has a real nice calendar too).

After a couple of hours of trial and error, I found that my primary user account did'nt have access to the program, and was able to get it to autostart by fixing a couple of registry items. Loaded it onto the wife's computer (same as this also running 7) and it worked perfectly from the start. Did the registry fixes and she is happy again. I used reg settings from a vista sp1 machine, and they seem to work ok for now.

Hi,

I am trying to achieve the same thing. I can't survive without Windows Calendar with my geriatric memory!
I have Windows 7 running on Virtual PC and whilst it's obviously easy to add the wincal.exe, I cannot get the reminders to pop up when the calendar is closed as it does in Vista. I have this option selected as well.
Can you please tell me, did you get this to work and if so, how?

Thanks
