Solved windows can not find -an app data\local\native messaging file

keep getting this persistent pop-up message
can get to Google Chrome, but Explorer just 'pings' when I try to use
checked hidden files and the file noted is in fact there

tried adding app data files to -programs that run at start-up, not useful

had a few other problems - somehow a number of services had been disabled. After starting them I
was able to run a SYSTEM RESTORE and have got rid of the message. Purchased McAfee which should
be useful.

That's good news, glad all is well now.

I personally would not use McAfee or Norton and use Microsoft security Essentials instead. It's a good AV program that does not have the negative impact on performance the others do. Just my $.02 worth.
