Windows cannot access \\... 0X80070035 error

Four machines: win7 32/64 (3) + (1) win8.1

Three machines (two win7s and the win8) can read the folder contents of the fourth. The fourth (win7 64 Home Premium) cannot see any of the files of the other machines although the machines appear in the network list and produces the error in the title. It produces the same error when it tries to read its own files from Network. There are no other network/Internet problems with this machine.

I have tried various combinations of Sharing, Permissions, Registry and TCP-IP hacks from other fora without success - "Windows cannot access \\{any other machine}".

It seems an elementary fault but has eluded all attempts at rectification.

Thanks Roy.
Unfortunately the 'IP instead of device name' solution did not work.
All the other machines can see and read the fourth (Win7 64 Prof) but the fourth cannot see any of the others although the devices are present in its network device list.
