Unplug all other HD's and peripherals,

Boot into BIOS setup, reset to defaults, save changes. (If an EFI BIOS you'll need to decide if you want UEFI BIOS vs. Legacy BIOS. If UEFI follow these special steps for Install, otherwise enable Legacy BIOS or Compatibility Support Module to proceed with normal install.) Set DVD drive first to boot, HD second, set SATA controller to AHCI, Save changes and Exit.

Then boot into Windows 7 installer DVD or flash stick burned or written using tool and latest ISO for your licensed OS version here. Your installer is questionable so if it fails after one more attempt, try another ISO burned with tool in link, then try flash stick method.

At first installer screen Press Shift + F10, or enter System Recovery Options to open a Command Box, type:

DISKPART
LIST DISK
SELECT DISK 0 (after confirming Windows 7 target HD #)
CLEAN
CREATE PARTITION PRIMARY
FORMAT FS=NTFS LABEL="WINDOWS 7"
ACTIVE
EXIT
EXIT

Next click Install Now, then Custom install to Clean Install Windows 7 to the partition you created. If it fails then report back at which step and the verbatim error message.

In addition read over these steps to understand the tools and methods which work best to get and maintain a perfect Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7. The steps are the same for retail.

After install you can adjust partition size or Create new partitions for data, etc. in Disk Mgmt. You are creating the partition here for the purpose of wiping the HD and marking Active which overcomes certain install failures.

ok tried that, didn't work. Got a new utf8.wim file from the manufacturer and put winpe on a flash drive then put the wim file in the image folder on the flash drive and tried to boot to it, but when I do, i get a loading operating system message and it just stops there, i also tried this on the regular hard drive i have and same thing so im thinking its not the ssd? HELP!!!!!!!!!!

Why are you doing all of that? Just burn the latest official ISO provided in the steps to DVD or flash stick with the tool also provided.

because i tried that and i keep getting the missing or corrupted file message

Please take a camera snap of the error or write it out fully and tell which step it happens during Clean Install Windows 7 . If error occurs during booting of the installer then it either means you have not burned or written the installer correctly or have a corrupted ISO file, or it is trying to boot Windows so the installer isn't working correctly.

Try another ISO file for your version and use the tool provided to write it to flash stick from Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7. If so then use the same tool to burn it to DVD and try that method.

You need to go into the BIOS and DISABLE the 'Execute Disable Bit' option. It should work then.

I was having issues formatting my crucial M500 SSD. I tried multiple times with a couple different discs. I did this and was able to format successfully, thank you!
