Cisco EAP-FAST Module is on my Programs file but when I 'search device',
Windows can't find it. How is that?!

A quick Google search tells me that it is an authentication protocol for wireless networks. So I would say that it is software that works with your wireless card, and not a device.

Yes I see. Btw, Cisco Linksys doesn't support Win 7 Starter. Isn't that the reason why Windows can't find the router? Thanks TV.

First time you mentioned the router. Is there a bigger problem you are trying to solve?

If so, try and describe it in detail - as if I were miles away and only knew what you told me! ;)

lol I was trying to find ways to hack Cisco on my Acer netbook but as I said, Cisco doesn't support Win 7 Starter. That was the big problem which apparently cannot be solved. Can you? Thanks.

I can't help you violate any licensing agreements on a public forum, if that is what you are asking.
If you mean, how can I get this hardware to work on my computer?, then maybe.

Let's start with Brand (Cisco), model #, type of device, and function.
Then add your full System Specs to your profile.

Let's not violate any licensing agreement here TV lol.
Before I give you my Cisco specs which I have yet to find, I think I must tell there's still one solution
I haven't tried. I learned somewhere that I could use a USB network adapter to connect Cisco to my Acer Windows netbook.

I'm really confused. What is it you are trying to do with your router? If it is a standard router, running standard protocols, then your netbook should be able to connect wirelessly to it.

Sorry Layback. Do I have to delete that message. I didn't mean to make it a joke.

The router simply refuses to sync with my netbook Deacon.

Could we just end this thread as solved. I'm not interested anymore. Thanks for all.

I think you may be trying to do something incorrectly. There's no install or sync between a computer and a router. I'm still not sure what it is you are trying to do.

If the Cisco device is a wireless router, then your netbook should see the SSID (if it is set to broadcast) and then let you connect to it's network, assuming you have any necessary password. There's no device to install or anything like that.

We are glad you are here. Many people don't read the rules when they become a member. Was just a kind of a reminder. If you could be more precise what you are trying to do with what equipment and what are the results their are members here that can help. Their are some people in the world that want help cracking routers and wifi that belong to others and of course we will not help doing such things. I don't think Windows 7 Starter has wireless included. Hang around and watch others will have more information. Doing this will help others help you.

Adding other information will also help. See My System Specs in the lower left of this post will give you a idea of what is needed. Your specs will follow your every post.
