Everytime I boot Windows 7, and I go to use let's say Internet Explorer, or a word processor, the window will change from FULL MAXIMIZED size to a smaller size (as if you had clicked the Restore window button by the X).

It only does this ONE time, and ONLY with the first program executed.

It's a nusiance.

Anyone know a fix?

I'm not sure if this is what you are asking about.

Right click on the shortcut for your program and select Properties.

Notice "Run", select how you want the program to open.

Not what I am talking about

No that is not the case. It doesn't matter what program I am using, that is why I said whether I use IE, or a word process, or what ever.

I can even maximize the window, then all of a sudden it will go back to the previous size. This only happens once, any other programs are not affected.

How long has it been doing this? Can you go back to a restore point before it happened?

It has always done this from day one.

I finally felt like researching the problem.
