This is usually a driver's problem and very easy to solve but you have to make sure that you do it correctly but, it could very well be that your PC does not meet or exceeds the requirements to run the game... you need to figure this out by checking your specs and the game's requirements.

If you meet or exceed those requirements then, go to the manufacturer of your video and audio cards and download their latest drivers, save them in a Temp folder. Also download a copy of CCleaner or Nvidia driver sweeper if you have an nvidia card)

Install your Ccleaner at this time but don't do anything with it yet.

Then go to Device Manager and uninstall your video and audio drivers, if it asks you to restart after each uninstall, wait until you finish with both and then restart your pc. Windows 7 will install generic or std drivers, let it finish (you may not see the hour glass so give it a few minutes, go drink a soda or smoke a cigar and then comeback ;)) and then restart again but this time go to SAFE Mode.

At this time, run the CCleaner app, clean your temp files first and the run the Registry Cleaner... it should get rid of some driver remnants for you. Once you are done, restart normal again and get to your desktop.

Go to the folder where you downloaded your drivers and right click on the exe file and Run as Admin, follow the instructions and restart when you are done with both... hopefully your issues will be gone by then.

Sorry for the long rant but I did not know whether you are new at this or not... :P
