I have Windows 7 and I currently use Windows 7 firewall. My anti-virus is MSE and love it! I noticed that Windows Defender somehow became disable once I started using MSE, is that because MSE does the job of the anti-spy ware program (Windows Defender) should I use another anti-spy ware like Malwarebytes.

Hello Eldinv,

This is normal. When you install MSE, it will automatically turn off Windows Defender since it replaces it as the default program instead.

MSE is a antispyware and antivirus program in one, so you do not have to use another antispyware program like Malwarebytes. You can also use both programs if you would like to though.

Hope this helps,
Shawn
