Hi, I'm having issues with windows desktop almost always starting locked in 640x480 16color.
after a few restarts it goes back to 1920x1080, has anyone come across this problem before?
or knows of a solution?

i added 2 pictures one is the windows loading screen with blue lines across it, and the other is how the desktop looks in 640x480.

i have tried updating the BIOS, graphics drivers and i cant find any viruses.

Any help is appreciated, and if you need some other information just ask, and ill see what i can do.

Hi Welcome to Seven Forums ... To rule out if this is a Graphics issue ...

Try using the On- board Graphics ... If that is stable try Reseating the Card ...

Hi, in the desktop screenshot it looks like Network and Sound icons have red cross over them also, next time could you go to device manger and make a picture of that?

Hi, thanks for the response, ill try on-board graphics when i get home from work.

I'll also try getting a screenshot of the device manager, but i think the reason there was a red mark on the internet connection is because it wasnt connected to the internet.

sorry for no update for the last two days but my computer has actually been working, and i'm afraid turning it off could cause it to stop.
I'll update the next time it doesn't work.

Hi, time for an update.
So the Computer started acting up again, i then opened the device manager and these pics is what i saw.
its very obvious at this point its the graphics card acting weird(still looking for an fix), but at least the problem has been somewhat identified.
