Windows display color calibration resets everytime i start windows

Whenever i sign into windows, my display color calibration that i made seems to reset and my screen goes dark. I made sure to check the checkbox in color management where it says 'use windows display calibration'. I have to go into color management and click on the button that says 'reload current calibrations' to get my calibration back again. I have to do this everytime i sign into windows. Please help.

What's causing this? Is there a microsoft fixit for this issue somewhere?
