Just yesturday my computer programs began freezing and not responding on me until the computer completely froze so I restarted.

After that when I try to boot up my computer, after loading the compact logo the screen turns black after that.

So I used system restore, back up my data and reverted back to "out of box" setting. Everything was fine until it began freezing again.

So I restarted again, this time it holds at the "windows is starting up logo". I did a diagonostic and it said that the Short DSP or whatever it was failed. I tried going to the system recovery options but it doesn't load. It just shows background and no windows.

Could someone help me please?

I would remove the HD, put it in an external enclosure, boot a good computer and run chkdsk /r on the drive.

For successive freezing, I would recommend to check the rams first . Remove the rams , clean the edges and insert those again . It should boot up now .
