Hi

I'm having a lot of trouble getting my computer to resume from standby (S3) to start a scheduled recording. Every settings seem to be correct, BIOS, "Allow wake timers" set to true, no problems suspending/resuming with the remote and so on. But when ever I schedule a recording and put the computer to sleep . . . nothing happens. It doesn't wake up.

Please help, I'm going crazy here - this is the only thing missing to make my pc a perfect media center.

System:

Intel DG45ID
Intel QuadCore Q8300
2 GB RAM
1 TB HDD
Sony Optiarc Blu-ray drive
Windows 7 Home Premium

Yes the power settings should be ok. Set to High Performance.

The High Performance plan may be what is causing your PC not to wake - review all the settings of it per the link given.
