Hi all - just purchase a new PC running Win7 Pro 64. Am trying to move my files from "old" Win7 Pro 32 PC to the new one through a home network. They both connect, WET starts, analyses but when I say go i get an error code: "Windows Easy Transfer can't log on to your domain account"???? What's up with that?
Any thoughts on what I can do? Have searched web for answers but reviewed suggestions have not worked

Some people claim WET is this magic software, but I'm always left to ask/wonder why people don't just move files themselves. You wouldn't have any of these issues. In fact, you are going straight through the network, so that will simplify the process even more. If it was me, I'd forget about using an app or some wizard, and just grab the stuff I wanted from the old system and copy it over to the new one.

Chances are, that will take less time than finding a solution to this, and still wondering if anything was left behind.
