Windows Easy Transfer vs. User State Migration Tool

Do you know if there is a difference between these two tools? MS site sometimes points to one and sometimes to another when recomending a tool for migrating from XP to Win7,

Also, should I expect problems or take special steps when migrating from XP x86 to Win7 X64, using one of these or similar tool?

I believe USMT is for servers, or will handle servers, and the Easy Transfer will not handle servers.

If you use the XP Windows Easy Transfer you can expect problems with win7, download the newer version for XP, Vista, and Win7, from MS downloads.
