Microsoft is not only hard at work building the embedded and componentized version of Windows 7, but also laboring to push forward the predecessor of codename Quebec. In this regard, the Redmond company announced at the start of this month that new features had been made available for download for Windows Embedded Standard 2009. Customers currently running the embedded version of Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) can now download and install new features from the Windows Embedded Standard 2009 database.
