i have just put in new ram due to a faulty ram causing bsod and over clocked cpu again to how i use to have it now with the bsod issue being over. a silly question maybe but i was wondering how come my windows experience when from 7.9 to 7.5 in graphic section yet ive not changed the gpu ? just curious but all is working fine.
also on a side question in control panel>system it shows processor being 4.7hz but it is oc to 5.1 and with turbo on 5.4 ghz. how come windows does not show the true processor speed as stated in bios?
thanks

The Windows Experience Index doesn't mean very much. There have been cases where the numbers differ on identical systems. The exact method used to calculate the numbers has never been documented.
The CPU speed shown in the control panel is the nominal speed rating read from the CPU itself. This cannot be changed and has nothing to do with the actual clock rate of the CPU. With most modern CPUs the actual clock rate will vary according to need.
