Windows Explorer DVD drive folder settings issue

Hi All,

When I view files in Windows Explorer, I have my folder view set to 'List', and that is fine, but my DVD/CD drive always seems to default to 'Details' as opposed to my preferred 'List' setting. Is there any way to fix this so I may have my DVD view in Windows Explorer to 'List'?

Hi,

Thanks for responding to my post.

The method stated works fine for anything on the hard drive. However, on doing some more research, I found at least two posts that essentially stated that it is a Win 7 default that cannot be changed for DVD/CDs.

Hopefully, there will be a fix somewhere down the line.
