Windows Explorer menus defaulting to the left instead of the right?

I've just noticed that explorer menus are appearing on the left instead of the right, is there a way to change this?

Example image below, it also does this for some programs like Photoshop when accessing the drop-down bars at the top.

That seems to have done it, I guess either photoshop or my bamboo tablet altered the settings randomly, thanks.

Windows 8 does that weird way by default.
