windows explorer not responding

Download ShellExView

The rule is to disable non-Microsoft context menu handlers *one-by-one* and verify if the problem is solved. If disabling one does not solve the problem, undo the disabled item and disable the next non-Microsoft handler. Do the same until the problem is solved and finally identify the culprit. Scroll right to see the Company Name column in ShellExView.

The reason for explorer crashing was older software version before Windows 7 released that why I found some software that need update later version or update fix patch - check with your software before 22nd October so update if there any avail.. Kaspersky update 2 fix patch and TuneUp 2010 updated that why I got fixed the problems -- i got numbers of crashing between October to end of November but havent since early December 2009. It worked fine in my own system as you need to check for any update plus if you use Fx 3.5 then switch off Private Browsing mode (same as in IE8)
