Windows explorer Problem

Hi

I am using windows 7 RC 7100 and I am having a great explorer problem. Whenever i open my Computer it takes about 10 minutes to load green address bar. and finally it shows up nothing. No drive, no folders, nothing. I am using start menu to explore or manually typing at address bar. many of the folder icons are gon it shows blank at icon.

I am using Bitdefender Total Security 2010.

before using bitdefender 2010, i was using F-secure with having same problem, therefore i installed bidefender with doubt of having malware in my computer but nothing found :( can you suggest me any anti malware or any thing that will remove this problem from my PC please.:huh:

Try first to restore your system to a prior date. I hope you have set a system backup. As for malware scanning tool, search on google, there are countless types. If you have MSE or AVG, try those also.

MSE means Microsoft Security Essentials Right? Ok i will try it thanks for the reply! :). So last option I will have is restore point! The problem above is occuring sometimes, but sometimes windows works perfect!

Well ok, do the scanns first and see how that go. Then do the system restore if need be. If could be something you've installed, and a virus has entered your system.
