Solved Windows Explorer stops working

I have problem.. everytime when I try to access to Local Disk ( F: ) I get "Windows Explorer has stopped working".. before it happened, I opened folder in Full screen mode and PC kinda freezed. And when it didnt go back to normal. I did Force Shut Down.. and now this problem.. why? I kinda can access to other Local Disk(s).. and also PC kinda got slower then it was before.

1.Have you any System Restore points created PRIOR to this happening?
2.Have you experienced any BSOD's?

Some troubleshooting steps you might care to consider.

* Try a clean boot, or boot into safe mode.

Start your computer in safe mode

* Run DiskCleanup
Start - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools - Disk Cleanup

hi and Welcome, do you have a Virtual Machine running or are you using IncrediMail? These can cause this error.

I dont have any BSOD so far.. I dont have Virtual Machine or IncrediMail..
I'm going to try System Restore.. hope it works

To enter BIOS (setup) on HP, usually press F1, F10, or F11 during the start-up when it shows the HP logo.

Did you try the other steps JMH posted?

Safe Mode seems fine.. but it didnt find any Local Disk after I had accesses to Local Disk (F: )
I also used "Check Disk" fix file system and after that Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors.. here was no problem found and scan was successfull.. but I still get it..
I also tried "How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7".. It didnt help.
I'm gonna try now "SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker"... hope that will help

I did sfc /scannow.. Its seems it was unable to fix few file.

Go into event viewer (type eventvwr in search).
Go to the windows log>application tab.

You want to look for critical errors (they have red in the left column ).

When you find them you want to look for critical errors that say app hang, app crash, or anything that relates to the problem.

When you find them please note the event ID, and the source codes and tell us what they are.

But I still get.. well I tried to access to Local Disk F:.. I was able to access to a folder but it was ~1min and PC freezed for little bit after that Windows Explorer did restart and now when I try to access F: I get error window that "windows has stopped working".. what should I do??..

Start your computer in Safe Mode and check out Event Viewer as per my Post 7 above.

because I havent been able to get fixed.. =(
I got new adapter for my External HDD.. and now I have enought free space to move files to other HDD.. but because I have this annoying problem. I was thinking to use cmd, but I havent used it much before. I dont really know how its working. Could I get somekind command guide if its possible?

yes I did.
I did all 4 steps what was here.. and it didnt work

Step 3 - Manually Replace steam.dll On Your PC
this didnt work when I tried to replace with cmd.. I got somekind error.

What exactly was the error? Download CCleaner from the link in my sig and run the Regisrty cleaner part.

I dont remember.. I was just thinking to try Step 3 once again.. but I noticed that I dont find any "steam.dll" at C:\Windows.. so should I skip it?

3) Locate the current steam.dll on your system
(will likely be in C:\Windows\System32)
