Could you explain in a bit more detail what the problem is? I'm not sure I understand... perhaps a screenshot or something extra, too?

Hi John, from your Problem Steps info it looks like the window has gone off-screen.

Open one instance of Explorer. Then whilst holding down the shift key, right click the Explorer taskbar icon and the System Menu should pop up. Next click on Move, and use the keyboard arrow keys/mouse to move the Window back to a suitable position on-screen.

Explorer window has gone off-screen !!!

Dear Oaken,
This is the first time in 25 years that such a thing happened to me too and I have been desperate those last days in the belief that it was due to some Malware.
I never heard before of a window going off-screen, neither new the meaning of this contextual option "Move".
Though your answer to John lays back years ago, it really saved me from a painful situation and I wanted to THANK you very much for the tip and remind other friends on this Forum who might benefit from your experience. With my best regards and sincere admiration... Jean-Marc
