How do I get the classic Windows Explorer with the folder tree back? I am blind without it. I want to view my C drive with all the folders and expand the sub folders as needed. I use Explorer daily.

Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit

Thanks.

Thanks for the link. I changed the one folder setting to match the example but that was not enough to do anything. Part of the issue is that I cannot find how to change the folder view to "details" rather than icons.

I followed a link from the article to here "http://www.mydigitallife.info/2009/01/05/how-to-hide-or-show-libraries-in-the-navigation-pane-of-windows-7-explorer/
to hide the libraries, but I do not have the "hide" option in my right click menu.

There was another link for a registry hack which I did not do. This is my first day with the OS and need to backup everything before attempting that. As you might guess, I am an XP user who prefers the classic mode and I skipped Vista altogether. At least regedit appears to be intact.

After much clicking around I was at least able to find the C drive again so I feel somewhat better. But I have not been able to get that menu tree structure back.

Thanks for your help.
