Last night I went to bed and my computer was running. I woke up this morning and I had an error "Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might have caused the issue after you install Windows Updates " I imagine my computer auto updated in my sleep and the update broke my computer. Anyways...

I am given 2 options.

1) Launch Startup Repair.

I select this option, the screen says "Windows is loading files..." The bar at the bottom fills twice. The screen immediately goes into the windows screen, but the logo does not appear only a small loading bar. After like 1 second I am immediately taken to the screen where I would select my profile, however there are no profiles or buttons. Just the blue background and the resolution appears to be slightly different than what I would expect it to be. Also my cursor is there.

2) Start Windows Normally.

The "starting windows" screen appears and the windows logo shows up and does its animation. After about 15 seconds, I get a BSOD for like a split second and the computer reboots.

--------------------------------

Other things I have tried involving Advanced Boot Options.

1) Repair Your Computer.

Exact same results as Launch Startup Repair.

2) Safe Mode.

The "Loading Windows Files" process begins. After about 30 seconds, it stops at "Loaded: \Windows\system32\drivers\CLASSPNP.SYS" It sits on this line for about 30 seconds. My computer then BSODs and then immediately reboots after about half a second.

3) Last Known Good Configuration.

The "Starting Windows" screen appears. It gets about 2 seconds into the animation and then BSOD and immediately restarts.

---------------------------------

The BSOD lasts less than a second in every scenario that it appears and it is hard for me to draw any information from it.

I am now out of options. The only thing I can think of doing next is pulling out the RAM and if that doesn't fix it than I guess I am screwed unless you guys can help me.:(

My computer runs on Windows 7 Home Premium.

I have managed to make the blue screen stay open longer for me to read.

It says:

Same thing happened to me, hangs at same spots as well and was following a larger Windows update the night prior. Been trying to figure out what happened for a few days now.

Any updates?
