Hey guys,

I built a new computer for my parents (AMD machine vs the old intel) and put the hard-drive in it.

However, Windows won't start, and it can't run repair, bad driver,

I can't run it in safe mode and system restore did nothing.

Thoughts?

A clean install maybe? Do you know what driver? Maybe you could download it with another computer and then install it in the affected machine.

Hi joechuckny,

Is the 'Hard Drive' being detected by the 'Motherboard'? Please check the system BIOS to see if the 'drive' is listed. You may want to refer to the 'User Guide' of 'MSI Z77A motherboard' for steps on accessing the system setup: MSI Z77A | User Guide (Page 43)

Hope this helps.
