Windows Fax and Scan ?

Why when you type into the main body of the fax as opposed to the cover page does it number this as page 1? It can be quite confusing to a recipient as surely the cover page is page 1 and subsequent pages 2, 3 etc

Does anyone know how to remove this page number completely or correct it?

The Page number in the CSID and TSID line header are however correct.

Windows fax and scan numbers it after the cover page, but the recipient should receive the cover letter marked by their fax machine as "Page 1"

The cover letter is generally not regarded as Page 1 of the fax, though. The relevant information that has been faxed has always in my experience been Page 1, 2, etc.
