Windows Firewall Registry corrupt?

With the exception of Zonealarm, recently on my Windows 7 Pro system I'm not able to block my internet connection.

Initially I was using Privatefirewall. I know the app isn't any longer supported so I assumed that was the culprit. Then I installed other firewalls including Comodo. While I can block application access, I can't stop access to the internet.

I checked for malware with many different apps and none were found. Somewhere something became corrupt.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to reset my Windows firewall configuration settings to default settings? I tried a few from online but they haven't made any difference to allow a firewall to disable complety my connection. However, an app called Netdisabler works but it requires a few steps to disable.

Are you trying to block everything from going on the internet? The simple way is disable the network or pull the cable out

Though the advanced Windows Firewall you can reset it to the defaults. But note that in that case, the default rule set is to allow almost everything.
Have you set up a rule that's not being honored? Have you more than one firewall installed together?
What's your exact problem with not being able to "block" something?
