Windows Format a Partition on Disk?

I really need help here. I am trying my best to Install Windows Vista but this error comes up which prevents me from installing it. Any idea why?

Inside the command prompt type in the commands below press [ENTER] after every command

SELECT PARTITION 1 
ACTIVE
FORMAT FS=NTFS LABEL="Windows" QUICK
ASSIGN LETTER=C
EXIT
EXIT

Then click on INSTALL NOW and continue with the installation

Yes I believe so. I tried FORMAT FS=NTFS and it seems like it's not working because it's still at 0 percent and not changing.

Just 0 percent complete and I know its not suppose to take long, should I start the process all over?

Yes, I guess have to be patient lol. 15 percent , this works fine

FS=NTFS - Makes the file system (FS) to NTFS Instead of FAT32

The command should be format fs=ntfs quick label="Windows" that is for a quick format, without the quick it is a full format which takes longer but will still work just fine.
