windows help

Have no idea where to put this entry.
Running Windows 7 pro 64-bit.
Went into the registry "hkey_local_machine\software\Microsoft\assistance\client]1.0\namespaces\
oem". enus was not there so I could not go to titles to delete Bcrm_bluetooth_help.
I was told that this causes the help file problem.
So I went to Microsoft and downloaded this file - windows6.1- kb917607-x64.msu.
I ran it and it did not solve the attached message.

From the research I have been doing, I have come to the conclusion that
Windows Help files are dead in windows 7.

While the standard Help files are somewhat basic, I still find them useful at times. Not sure I'm understanding the problem here. Is it you can't get internet? Or is it you're wanting to delete a buetooth program/driver? As far as the net thing goes Microsoft's servers seem to have been going down every now and then. Keep trying for a bit and see if you can get connected. If its the Bluetooth thing...... have you tried disabling the driver in Device Manager? Finally, have you ran a sfc/scannow to find and possibly repair any corrupted system files? Are you talking about .HLP or .CHM files?

Thanks for responding.
I can get on the internet. I have not gotten involved with the .hlp or .chm files.
Another fellow thought it might be Bluetooth causing the problem and advised
changing the registry to delete it from there. I could not do that in Windows 7 pro 64-bit
as his instructions were faulty.
It seems that Microsoft has decided to eliminate the Helps Files from Window 7.
If you have windows 7 go to the help files and you will see the absurd message
that I got and posted here as an attachment.

The help files work fine for me as well as the online help.

Same problem,

A friends laptop started rebooting at the splash screen, so I booted into Safe Mode to try to go back to a good configuration, went to Help and Support, and found all this about elbauser.

Went through the whole thing regarding:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Assistance\C lient\1.0\Namespaces\OEM\en-US\Topics.

but found that there was no "en-US" in the list thoughts? TIA
