Just wondering if anyone had any idea why when i was using the rc 7100 build my index score for my HD was 7.8 but yesterday i installed the release of ultimate and my HD score is now 5.9. Was anything changed from the RC build to the release to make my score go down?

If you dont have an SSD the 7.8 was wrong. Any normal HD scores in the 5-6 range. after all 7100 was a release candidate.

Four Raptor 10k drives in RAID0 will only score 5.9 in WEI.

ZigZag is spot on. The 7.8 was not a valid reading.

re-run WEI and I bet it changes again. they are just estimates.

Your HD will stay at 5.9 until you go to SSD ... end of story. I had two Raptors in Raid 0 which scored a 5.9. Now I have two WD Blacks in Raid 0 which scores a 5.9 as well.

yeah my 2 raptors in raid0 are 5.9.
