Right i have a bit of a puzzler,
basically i can get some workstations at a good price, however they come preinstalled with windows 7 pro 64-bit.
i am loath to release 64-bit as yet into my workplace, its caused issues already on a couple of workstations so i dont want anymore in there.
i know that my oem licence on the machine (sticker) will cover me for 32 and 64 bit correct?
however as its an oem key, can i use a retail boxed copy of windows 7 pro 32-bit installer to reinstall then bang my oem licence key in and all will be well and good both from a it will work physically point of view and a i can activate windows and be all legal point of view as well?
cheers
