Solved Windows install issues after ubuntu

I recently installed Linux on my netbook to make it faster but I want the Windows desktop back. So I'm trying to re install Windows 7 starter or pro 32bit. I have both in a bootable usb (2 usbs) both have the same issue basicly if I plug them in and boot from usb it gives me a blank black screen. But if I try with a different usb (manjaro Linux) the install screen comes up fine.

No clue why you can`t boot from either usb installer, how did you create them ?

Use Diskpart to run the Clean command and set the drive up again. (not the Clean All command)

You have to get rid of the Linux code that`s still on the drive.

then create your install partition with Diskpart

Partition or Volume - Create New - Windows 7 Help Forums

Diskpart
List disk
Select disk n (where n is the number that was given for your SSD in List disk)
Clean
Create partition primary align=1024
Format fs=ntfs quick
Active (assuming you want to install an OS)
Exit

I used Windows disk burner. Thank you guys for responding I figured out the usbs were the problem it worked fine when booting from a dvd on a usb dvd burner

To boot from USB you must have legacy USB devices enabled in BIOS/PERIPHERALS menu.
