All of a sudden, well, for the past few months really but I have been procrastinating looking for a fix, the Installation or Uninstalation of a game, software, anything is taking forever to finish.
I don't get an error, thank God, but I can start it, go outside smoke a pack of cigarettes and when I come back it is still working on doing it... this is true for both Install or Uninstall.
It does not freeze or lock and it does not gives me an error or BSOD... it just takes forever to complete the task.
I have google it a few times but I end up with almost similar issues as mine but they all have errors so even though I try those suggestions nothing happens on my side.
I have a funny feeling the result will be that I have to do a fresh install, hence the procrastination on my part, but I am hoping that there will be a last shot I can do here.
EDIT: WOW, I knew I had posted something like this before but I couldn't find it in the search option and as soon as I finished posting this I went to google for one last shot and guess what I found on the first try? yep... my old post.
Sorry for it

Double WOW because I thought it only had been a few months and it seems that this has been going on for over a year now, perhaps why I don't install much on this pc now. Oh and I did what was recommended by A Guy but it did not work at all for my issue
My apologies for the double post
