Windows Installer Being Invoked Erroneously

The Windows Installer is being launched as a result of launching software MP3Gain. The Windows Installer window appears for about 1 second after launching MP3Gain, but does nothing. MP3 Gain runs fine. I have uninstalled/reinstalled MP3Gain using Programs and Features, the Revo Uninstaller and its own Uninstaller to no avail. I have also cleaned the registry with RegServ. I can find no relationship between Mp3Gain and the Windows Installer after MP3Gain has been installed. This seems to be the only software exhibiting this behavior thus far. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Where did you download it from? When you uninstalled it, did the Installer still remain?
