I have a Logitech G11 keyboard but I've heard the drivers are difficult to come by for 7.

I don't think I need the drivers for this, but my windows key is not working. So basically none of the new shortcut keys in windows 7 work for me.

I looked in the device manager and apparently there are two keyboards registered, even though I have only one.

Any help would be greatly appreciated...I love the Aero task switcher but it just doesn't work.

Also, the start menu is supposed to pop up when you press it, correct?

Hi and welcome to seven forums

lets go into device manager and remove the keyboard you dont use. Reboot. If it the win key still doesnt work lets take a look at device manager again.

Look on the keyboard tab Is the driver there and working, or is it missing or have a yellow triangle on it?

Let us know the results

Next aero. what video card are you using??

next start menu-- yep

Did you clean install or upgrade>|??

Thank you Ken.

I uninstalled the second keyboard listed and restarted. Checked the device manager and its back. Very odd. The Windows key still does not work.

The driver seems to be working fine, no errors.

I have a GTX 285 and my experience index is 7.3

Clean install.

Is there anyplace where I can check the binding of certain keys in windows?

I have determined the problem.

On most Logitech keyboards, there is a switch which you can slide to the left for regular pc use and to the right for gaming use.

I switched it from the gaming use to the pc use and everything works fine now.

Looks like Windows 7 supports this keyboard more than I thought!

You must be confused. Aero is running fine, it was my windows key that was not working.
